Clinton Global Initiative
Annual Meeting & University Convening — Global Leadership Summit

THE SITUATION
CGI's Annual Meeting is one of the most scrutinized gatherings in the world — 2,000 attendees, global press, heads of state, Fortune 500 CEOs, and a mandate to produce real commitments, not just conversation. The stakes are reputational, logistical, and geopolitical simultaneously.

THE WORK
As Event and Program Producer across multiple years, I co-led end-to-end production for the Annual Meeting and CGI University convening — overseeing run-of-show development, agenda flow, staging, staff coordination, and cross-team operations. I created briefing materials for President Clinton and senior leadership, managed budgets exceeding $1M, and coordinated directly with the U.S. Secret Service on security planning and credentialing.

THE OUTCOME
Consistently delivered convenings that met the operational and reputational standards of one of the world's most visible philanthropic platforms — across multiple consecutive years, in complex and high-pressure environments.

WHAT THIS REQUIRED
Discretion under scrutiny. Real-time decision-making at scale. Calm leadership in genuinely high-stakes conditions

MOBILIZING OUR BROTHERS INITIATIVE (MOBI)
Annual Wellness Conference, Concert Series & Art Exhibition — Built from Zero

THE SITUATION
MOBI had a mission and a community — but no events infrastructure, no programming model, and no established annual presence. The goal was to create a gathering that could hold multiple audiences and formats simultaneously: a wellness conference for people doing serious personal work, a concert series that brought the community together through culture, and an art exhibition that gave that community a place to see itself. Starting from nothing, the question wasn't just how to produce events — it was how to build something people would come back to every year.

THE WORK
As founding Events Director, I designed and built MOBI's entire programming portfolio from the ground up — creating the conference format, the concert series structure, the exhibition curatorial framework, and the operational systems that made running all three simultaneously possible. Over eight years, I produced every iteration of the full programming suite: sourcing and managing vendors, coordinating talent across 7–12 musical acts per concert, curating 10–15 artists per exhibition, and leading onsite teams of 10–15 coordinators and volunteers across multiple concurrent formats.

THE OUTCOME
MOBI grew into a recognized annual destination — engaging over 20,000 unique visitors across eight years of programming. What started as an idea became an institution with its own rhythm, its own audience, and its own cultural presence. WHAT

THIS REQUIRED
The patience to build, not just produce. Creative range across wellness, music, and visual art. The operational discipline to run three distinct event formats as one coherent experience.

PARSONS SCHOOL OF DESIGN, THE NEW SCHOOL
Institutional Events & Curricular Partnerships — 10-Year Engagement

THE SITUATION
Parsons is one of the world's leading design institutions — and its public-facing events carry that reputation into every room. With 75+ annual events spanning student ceremonies, faculty exhibitions, donor convenings, and public programs, the challenge wasn't producing any one event well. It was building the systems, standards, and leadership infrastructure to produce all of them consistently, at scale, across 30+ academic departments.

THE WORK
As Senior Director of Events and Curricular Partnerships, I built and led the school-wide event production system from the ground up — establishing planning frameworks, communication protocols, vendor relationships, and governance structures still in use today. I also founded Parsons' Curricular Partnerships Department, structuring 40+ annual partnerships with leading organizations across art, design, technology, fashion, and the nonprofit sector. Alongside that, I served as Executive Producer for the institution's highest-visibility moments, including commencement ceremonies for 1,120 graduates and 6,800 attendees.

THE OUTCOME
A decade of consistent, high-quality institutional programming — and a partnerships department that became a core part of how Parsons engages the world beyond its walls.

WHAT THIS REQUIRED
Systems thinking at institutional scale. The ability to build infrastructure while still producing at the highest level. Senior leadership that held both the strategic and the operational simultaneously.
